WASHINGTON: Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar has denied any news of requests being made to remove Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi.
He further added, “Talks are under way to change his portfolio.This is what I have understood from the reports I have read.”
He also denied any involvement of the finance ministry in the formation of the Joint Investigation Team formed to probe further in the Panamagate matter.
Regarding the budget, Dar said respite would be given to common people.
