QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Sunday visited Jan Mohammad Road, where three people were killed and others severely injured in a targeted firing incident.
Earlier, unidentified persons had opened fire in the area, killing three and wounding four people.
Bugti inspected the site of the crime scene and summoned a report from Inspector-General of police (IGP) Balochistan Moazzam Jah Ansari over the incident.
The home minister said that such targeted killings are tactics to spread anarchy in Balochistan. He expressed grief over the unfortunate loss of precious lives and directed Ansari on the provision of better medical services for the wounded.
The assailants had managed to escape from the crime scene. As per police, no responsibility has been claimed for the incident till now.
