DERA BUGTI: The Frontier Constabulary on Tuesday killed two wanted terrorists in Dera Bugti.
According to reports, two terror camps were also destroyed in the operation. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from the camps.
Sources said the two terrorist commanders were involved in anti-state activities. They were identified as Thango and Kaleri. Separately, the Counter-Terrorism Department claimed to have arrested two militants in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Sindh Rangers also claimed to have arrested 10 suspects during raids in the city.
The two alleged militants of the banned sectarian outfit were arrested from Bandhani Colony in Liaquatabad. They were identified as Abdullah, son of Majid Jamil, and Adnan Ahmed, son of Ahmed Ali. The CTD officials also claim to have recovered arms and ammunitions from their possession. CTD Investigations in-charge Chaudhry Safdar said that the suspects arrested belonged to the Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
Four suspects arrested by Rangers were identified as Ikram Zada, Zameen, Khurram Zaman and Habib Zada. Another six arrested suspects were identified as Tariq Aziz, Asif Bhatti, Waqar, Faizan, Babar Ismail and Syed Monis.
Meanwhile, three security officials were injured when their vehicle hit a landmine in Kurram Agency. The injured were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Kohat as forces launched a search operation in the area.
